I am so unbelievably grateful to Dr Girard for her kindness and compassion during such a difficult time. We had to make the difficult decision to have our cat Reeses put to sleep after a wonderful 19 years together. Dr Girard was so patient and helpful with us throughout the process, making sure we were ready at each step of the way. I truly cannot recommend her enough, she helped make this a peaceful transition for all of us ❤️

Dr. Girard was on time and allowed our large German Shepherd (Flint), to “know” her. Her guidance and instructions about the procedure were exceptional. We all knew the outcome, but having him die at home was special for our family. I highly recommend Dr. Girard’s services— she made it easier for Flint and us. I would not hesitate to recommend, refer, or use her services again. Her presence allowed us to give Flint a proper goodbye to our gentle giant. I told our regular vet how much I appreciated her staff for giving us the referral to Dr. Girard, as it was a very meaningful experience for us and our “old guy.” There’s no way “around” the grief of losing a pet, Flint was with us from eight weeks to the end. He was an exceptional dog, made a lot of people feel better, and gave us as much love as he gave others.
It was such a gift that I found Dr. Girard as I started to look hard at my sweet Pip’s quality of life. She responded promptly and professionally within a day of my inquiry, and we had an appointment just a day later. At our appointment, she performed a comprehensive exam and evaluation. In my 15 years with Pip, we have never had such a thorough vet appointment. She was so compassionate and thoughtful. We talked through the options, including hospice and euthanasia. I decided it was time to say goodbye to Pip. Pip was able to relax during Dr. Girard’s visit and ultimately passed peacefully at my side in the comfort of our home. Dr. Girard, thank you for supporting Pip and me as we said goodbye.
The amount of compassion Dr Girard has is unexplainable. She answered all our questions and helped our precious Sammie cross over with the dignity and comfort he so deserved. I will never be able to thank her enough.
Dr. Girard is a wonderful compassionate person and an amazing vet. She provides peace and comfort in a loving, home environment. I am so thankful for her amazing service to animals and humans. God has truly Blessed you sweet lady.
