In-home Euthanasia

Saying Goodbye Respectfully

All of your pet’s life, you have been their shepherd; now let us help YOU shepherd them home.
In-home Euthanasia

In-home Euthanasia

We are here to help give your pet the peaceful, compassionate passing they deserve in the comfort of your home. Whether you pick a cozy space indoors or a favorite outdoor spot, we will be there to accommodate the needs of your pet as best we can. When Dr. Girard arrives, she will give your pet time to become used to her presence and address any last-minute inquiries. When everyone is ready to proceed, the doctor will give your pet a sedative to ease any discomfort or stress and help them to fall asleep. Dr. Girard will offer to step out at this time if you would like time alone with your pet. The final medication will be administered after your pet has fallen deeply asleep, which will softly stop their heart, allowing for a pain-free passing. Alone time will be offered once again before Dr. Girard respectfully transfers your pet into a cozy basket or stretcher to transport out to her vehicle (if this aftercare arrangement is desired). Family members may be asked to assist as pallbearers during this transport.

We understand the importance of euthanasia and aftercare pre-planning for peace of mind on the day of the event. We encourage you to visit our Resources and FAQ pages for additional information and to reach out to us directly with any questions or concerns.
