Aftercare Services

We are proud to partner with Agape Pet Services to offer support with your pet’s aftercare following euthanasia. Agape offers both private and communal cremation services.

Private cremation:

Your pet will be gently transported by Dr. Girard for transfer to the aftercare team following your in-home euthanasia visit. With this option, your pet will be cremated alone and their ashes placed into a complimentary memorial urn of your choice. You may choose for your pet’s ashes to be returned to you via signed home delivery, or you may visit the Agape Pet Services location (3955 Hammonds Mill Road, Hedgesville, WV 25427) to personally bring them home. The following images include the complementary memorial urn options available with private cremation services.

Communal cremation:

Your pet will be gently transported by Dr. Girard for transfer to the aftercare team following your in-home euthanasia visit. With this option, your pet will be respectfully cremated alongside other beloved pets and their ashes spread in memory. Please note that with this service you will not receive your pet’s ashes back.

Our priority is that you receive the aftercare that is best for you and your pet. If you prefer to make other aftercare arrangements (such as honoring your pet with a home burial or working with another local crematory), we are happy to provide support in any way that we can. We understand how important it is to honor our beloved pets well and find the care that fits best — please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions regarding aftercare planning.
